So....here goes. I am now delving into the romance portion of my story. Just slightly freaking out over here. I'll be okay! I'm so going to embarrass myself. So, here's the rule. No one reads this section until I've thoroughly edited it. Anyone have any tips on falling in love? My characters are already friends, I just have that awkward transformation from friendship to romance. Let's see how well this goes...*cue the romance music*
Note: It's kind of scary how many break-up songs I have in my i-Tunes library...I was browsing for good inspirational love songs and half the ones that I was thinking of have lyrics like this, "I'll move on, baby, just like you. When the desert floods and the grass turns blue..." or "I wanna find some boy and rip his heart right out..." or "He lost his soul along the way to a woman so heartless..." but then, again, there are a few really good love songs, "You should know, everywhere I go, you're always on my mind, in my heart, in my soul. You're the meaning of my life." I better stop rambling. I'm supposed to be doing something not-blogging right now. This was supposed to be a short post.....oops....

Cameo

Hmmmm.... I love reading classic romances, so I am trying to think of some good "falling in love tips". Setting is everything. The guy should probably start, then it's up to the girl to respond. It has to be gradual. Unless you want to add some comedy in there. The guy could be like-"Ummm, I have really loved you for a long time, but I was never sure how to express it...", etc. Does it end up funny, sad, just right, or in an argument? Would love to read it!

It happens in modern-day America, but I do have a couple of romantic destinations in store. Like of Garden of the God's (that place is soooo romantically beautiful:) It's supposed end up in a happily ever after sort of way:) I currently have 161 pages in it. Thanks!

About Me!Hannah writes to satisfy her imagination. She's written six books so far--five of which need to be rewritten--and is working on a seventh. She ranges through a variety of genres, but favors contemporary YA, fixing broken characters. She wants to use her writing to change people and bring hope. She's currently going to college for Nursing and that takes up most of her writing time. She's a rather stereotypical writer, talking to imaginary friends, eavesdropping on people at the store, secretly being nosy, stashing herself away in her room with a paper and pen and chocolate and her teddy bear. She loves Jesus, the way the morning smells, her family of seven (four siblings), old movies, fairy tales, candles at night and helping people. She writes on another blog at nerdywriter.blogspot.com to hopefully build her chances of publication. My Author Site:Archives
