I've been working on a short story to trace the back story of one of the main characters in my book, Spophnymn. Here is the link. Hope you enjoy it. Test of Faith (title in the making)

I found this amazing quote in a book that I've been reading. I think it states my position perfectly. I've posted a link for it below.* Since I didn't get to post on Thanksgiving, I'm going to say what I'm thankful for here!
Thank you God, ultimately for your sacrifice on the cross so many years ago. Thank you also for my wonderful family. I am grateful to have both of my parents who love me. I'm so happy to have my Mom stay at home and to have three little sisters and a little brother, each of whom I adore. Thank you Jesus, also, for a roof over our heads and food to eat and water to drink. I'm joyful for our health and our safety. Thank you for the freedom to do as we choose in our country. Thank you for my Nana and Papa and how much they love us. Thank you for my Nanny and Pampo and how much they adore us. I'm even thankful for our annoying dogs who are constantly barking. I'm grateful for a good education and the fact that I can read and write. Thank you for good friends, and people who love us. Thank you for books, as well. They are a great escape for when I need one. Thank you for giving us the Bible so that we can know how to follow you. Thank you, Dad, for your protection. Thank you, Mom, for your care. Thank you, Emma, for your humor. Thank you, Abby, for you homemaking. Thank you, Ella, for your joyfulness. Thank you, Liam, for your rambunctiousness Thank you, Tommy and Lindy, for the joy that you bring to our family. *Quote from above Been working like crazy to get ready for Thanksgiving! Made a ton of stuff. I think we're ready! Can't wait. We have four Thanksgiving feasts this year. We did one yesterday with our neighbor. He has no family, so we always do holiday meals with him. We're doing two tomorrow. One with my mom's side of the family and one with my dad's side. We're doing another one Friday with Nana and Papa for our family meal. Whew!
Epic fail Wednesday night.
Got home from a long day at school, decided to go see Willie Robertson at the Bass Pro Shop grand opening. Got stuck in traffic. Took us about a hour to get there. Got there about a half an hour to fortyfive minutes late. Had to park far away. Walked for a while to get there. Didn't end up seeing Willie. Abby claims she saw his headband and hair. Dad bought bullets that we later figured out were the wrong kind. Walked all the way back. Got stuck in traffic again. Almost ran out of gas in the car. Had a dinner that disagreed with me. Left at 5:30. Got home at 9:00. For nothing. Epic fail. Flint!
Steve! Steve! Flint! Earl! Flint! Cal! Flint! You, guy! Steve! Flint! Sam! Flint Sam Flint! Dad! Steve! Watching "Cloudy with the Chance of Meatballs" for about the zillionth time with Ella and Liam. I'm a mess today. I have cold, a headache, my skin aches, my stomach hurts, my back hurts, and my teeth hurt. Hope I get better by Thursday:)
I ate a ton of candy yesterday and now I have a cold. Great thinking on my part. I also have a singing recital coming up on Thursday. Hope I get better before then.
Here is my endorsement statement for the Seventh Door:
The Seventh Door has everything a good story should have. Bryan Davis has created characters that you'll never forget, adventures that will linger with you for life, and inspiring moments that will strengthen your faith. Unlike lots of books for teens The Seventh Door intertwines faith and adventure in an eloquent style that makes you believe every word that is on the paper before you. This book will touch you with examples of sacrifical love, purity, perseverance and more, leaving you craving for the next chapter in this incredible tale. Watching Emma and Abby chase each other and scream, listening to "Letting go" by Francesca Battistelli. Went to a Duck Dynasty theme party and my Dad and Liam looked so good. Dad called Ella a yuppie girl. If you haven't watched Duck Dynasty you will have no idea what I'm talking about. Had a fun time though. :) New quotes will be coming from the Seventh Door soon. On January 15th, I will post some really cool quotes that were in this amazing book.
Busy day today. Got up at 5:00 did school until noon. Babysat a fussy baby and two hyper toddlers for six hours. Went to a comedy show and sold hot chocolate. I miss Ella and Liam. They're at Nanny's and Pampo's house for the night. I am worn out. I literally had to walk back and forth and sing for an hour to an hour and a half before the baby finally went to sleep. Good night. It is 10:52 and my sisters want me to turn off the computer light. Good night....again!
Yesterday we went to school. I swear the seconds were like 1/4 second, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/8, 1 1/4, 1 3/8, 1 1/2, 1 5/8, 1 3/4, 1 7/8, 2 seconds. Why are school and microwave minutes so much longer than sleep minutes.

About Me!Hannah writes to satisfy her imagination. She's written six books so far--five of which need to be rewritten--and is working on a seventh. She ranges through a variety of genres, but favors contemporary YA, fixing broken characters. She wants to use her writing to change people and bring hope. She's currently going to college for Nursing and that takes up most of her writing time. She's a rather stereotypical writer, talking to imaginary friends, eavesdropping on people at the store, secretly being nosy, stashing herself away in her room with a paper and pen and chocolate and her teddy bear. She loves Jesus, the way the morning smells, her family of seven (four siblings), old movies, fairy tales, candles at night and helping people. She writes on another blog at nerdywriter.blogspot.com to hopefully build her chances of publication. My Author Site:Archives
