I'm sitting in my chair, watching Liam, dressed up as a princess, drinking tea and eating toast on his throne. This isn't right. :)

Luke and Rachel are getting married today. Congratulations you two! Hope you two have a great, long marriage.
For all you writers out there, here's a Teen Writing Contest. It's for middle school and high school, and they are judged separately. Your story must be less than 2500 words and it must start with the sentence, the light bulb flickered to life."
Here's the page and description. Click on the Submission form for more info: http://ppld.org/whats-new/teen-writing-contest-0 It's Memorial Day. Let's all take time to thank a soldier today and remember those who have given their life for our country and our freedom. Thank you, every man and woman who isn't at home right now and is fighting. I posted this video last year on July 4th, but I wanted to post it again to say thanks to all the soldiers.

67 books checked out at the library (on my card alone, mind you.) Actually 22 aren't mine, movies and books that I picked up for Emma and Abby and Ella and such. That makes 45 books stacked by my school desk. I'm in heaven. I'm actually only reading something around three of them...yeah, three. I was reading four, but I just finished that one. It just makes me happy to know that I've got a bunch of books in case of an emergency.
Just started reading this book, and it's really good. It has a very different style from his previous books and a radically different setting, but it's really good.
Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord. ~Psalm 102: 18 To me, this should be the prayer of every writer. That while you are writing, you are making it so people not yet born will read what you've written and see God's glory in it.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord... God is in control. No matter how hard we try to save ourselves, it's all in vain. If you fear the Lord, he will save you, so you don't have to do it for yourself.
My dad got laid off from his job today. Since the senior pastor resigned, the church has been low on finances and they had to lay-off my dad. But we're in God's hands. I'm at peace, knowing that God will come through. Dad wasn't exactly enjoying his job, so maybe this is a door opening to give him something that he enjoys more. Also, for selfish reasons, he'll be home for a few weeks. :) Love you, Dad. Don't stress out or anything. We're in God's hands and we'll be okay.
This post was inspired by my friend, Elisabeth.
I sometimes wonder what a total stranger would think, if they landed in the middle of our conversations. Me and my sisters have so many inside jokes, you may either be totally confused, or you might be shocked that we are being so offensive. For example, we say, "Idiots!" to each other a lot, in a dopey way, quoting Napoleon Dynamite. We call each other "sickos" all the time, also quoting Napoleon Dynamite. Whenever someone is complaining about something stupid, we'll often go, "Boo hoo hoo. Do you want a juice box?" In a babyish voice (quoting Uncle Si in Duck Dynasty). Also, we have the most random conversations, for example, we could start talking about mustaches to mullets, to the Alamo, to cute celebrities (yes, it makes me sound shallow, but some celebrities are cute, okay?--boo hoo hoo) to how Emma likes Leo Valdez in the Heroes of Olympus. Yes. Don't ask me how we got from one subject to the other. Actually, I probably could tell you. We probably started talking about fads and the dumb mustache fad, to someone who has a mustache, to other weird hair-do's, like mullets, (sickos) to that dumb Alamo documentary where all the historians and mullets, to better hair styles, to something about cute people, to cute celebrities, to how we have fictional crushes, and how Emma likes Leo Valdez. Well, anyway, you're probably bored, but, you do have to wonder what people would think if they landed in the middle of your conversation. Happy Mother's Day!Mom, thanks for being my mom. You're always there for me and always available to talk to whether I need to talk, or just want to chat about random things. Thanks for bearing with me with all my "allergies." You've been amazing with planning meals that I can have and supporting me with this. You're always helping me with writing ideas and ways to make my stories work. You're my inspiration. :) You do a great job controlling us all (especially Liam.) You are truly the #1 Mom. Love you so much, Mom. Happy Mother's Day.
Hold me now, and let it be. He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose -Jim Elliot My dog, Lindy, is under my chair and she's snoring so hard it's shaking the chair. Keep in mind she's a King Charles Spaniel. She's tiny.
My sisters--Emma and Abby--and our cousins--Lydia and Abigail--wrote this song. Me and Emma wrote the first verse and the first chorus. It's a parody of "Lord I need you" by Matt Maher (I think that's how you spell it. :S.
Click this link to see the song. Enjoy! Someone needs to tell my little brother that Hide-and-seek is a game where you actually have to look for someone, not designate a hiding spot for them, count to ten and go find the place where he told them to hide.

About Me!Hannah writes to satisfy her imagination. She's written six books so far--five of which need to be rewritten--and is working on a seventh. She ranges through a variety of genres, but favors contemporary YA, fixing broken characters. She wants to use her writing to change people and bring hope. She's currently going to college for Nursing and that takes up most of her writing time. She's a rather stereotypical writer, talking to imaginary friends, eavesdropping on people at the store, secretly being nosy, stashing herself away in her room with a paper and pen and chocolate and her teddy bear. She loves Jesus, the way the morning smells, her family of seven (four siblings), old movies, fairy tales, candles at night and helping people. She writes on another blog at nerdywriter.blogspot.com to hopefully build her chances of publication. My Author Site:Archives
