I jumped at a loud crack. This time I was sure it wasn't my campfire. I stayed there, debating whether to go and see what the noise was, or stay by the fire. I finally decided to go, because I wasn't going to relax until I knew what that was. I crept into the forest. "I was so scared, Jonathon." A female voice whispered a few yards away. I stopped. That voice sounded familiar. They were sitting in a clearing, a patch of moonlight. The boy, who must have been Jonathon was hugging the girl close. I stepped forward, carefully and, of course, I stepped on something and a loud crack filled the air. Both of their heads snapped around as I stepped back. The moonlight illuminated the girl's features. I took another step back, my breath suddenly gone. "Jenna," I whispered.
