I knew that I couldn't let this man kill Lauryn, but I did know that if I threw away my only weapon, we'd all be captured. Lauryn looked absolutely terrified. I could tell that she had woken up to this, because her hair was still tangled with leaves. I hesitated for five seconds. I know that five seconds doesn't seem like a long time, but it is when you're trying to make a life or death decision. I glanced at Rose, silently asking her what to do. She gave me an almost imperceptible nod. I took a deep breath. This was probably going to get us all killed. I finally just let the dagger drop silently into the leaves.

HannahMy name is Hannah and I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I live with my mom, my dad, my three younger sisters, my little brother, two very annoying, but very cute, dogs, and my grandma and grandpa. I love to write and have been writing since I was 7 (I think) when I wrote a devotional about the Herrera family. I have finished five books. I love to read. I love Jesus and try to please Him when I'm writing my books. Please enjoy! |
